Workshops
You've been invited to a hands-on bootcamp. Here's what the day looks like, what to bring and how to sign in.
Before the day
Your organizer will send you sign-in details for this site, usually a few days before your session. They're made for your event only, so keep them handy and don't share them.
- Charge your laptop and pack the charger.
- Update your browser to the current version.
- Try signing in once, so any problem surfaces early. If something's off, your organizer can reissue your details.
- If your laptop is managed by an employer, check that you can reach ordinary websites from it. Some networks block new sites until they're reviewed.
On the day
After a short kickoff you'll sign in and open your practice environment: a set of sandbox applications loaded with fictional sample data. The instructor then builds a working automation step by step, and you build it alongside them.
In the afternoon there's open build time. Pick a challenge card, team up if you like, and make something of your own. Instructors and consultants are in the room to help. The day closes with a short show and tell.
What you'll work with
- Build guides that walk through each step with screenshots and checkpoints.
- Practice applications with forms, queues, records and documents to automate.
- AI-assisted steps such as summarizing a document, classifying a request or drafting a reply, always with a person checking the result.
- Challenge cards at three levels, from first build to stretch goal.
After the day
Attendee accounts are issued per event and expire after it, along with the practice environment. Copy anything you want to keep (your notes, screenshots, ideas) before you leave. Your organizer can tell you about follow-up sessions.
Accessibility
If you'd like any adjustment for the day, such as larger text, a quieter seat, extra time or materials in advance, tell your organizer ahead of time and we'll plan for it.
